Three Decades of Quality: Babtec Celebrate Its 30th Anniversary
Babtec is marking its 30th anniversary: Since its founding in 1994, the company has dynamically developed and today employs over 230 employees at nine locations. More than 1,250 customers worldwide rely on Babtec software.
Technological progress using the example of mobile quality work
“We are proud of what we have achieved over the last three decades,” says Michael Flunkert, CEO and founder of Babtec. ”Our innovative strength and commitment to the highest quality have made us what we are today. We would like to thank our customers, partners and employees for their support and trust.”
Babtec's company history is characterized by dynamic growth. Founded in Solingen in 1994, Wuppertal has long since become the company headquarters; but we also develop and sell software solutions for quality management and for meeting the requirements of Integrated Management Systems at eight other locations in Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland. Five of these eight locations have been established since 2019, which illustrates the enormous success and the unchanged relevance of the topic of quality on the world market.
Innovative Technology for Quality-conscious Customers
However, we have not only expanded geographically, but have also aligned ourselves with the needs of the market in terms of technology and focus. Cloud and browser-based solutions now complement traditional quality management software, while software modules to support Integrated Management Systems expand the portfolio. And with Babtec 8, a major software upgrade just in time for the anniversary year, we are providing our customers with new functions and many improvements, including innovative technology.
According to Michael Flunkert, the company's quality-conscious customers are one of the key factors in Babtec's continued success. From family-owned companies to global players, businesses in a wide range of sectors work with Babtec products and services to ensure the best possible quality. On the other hand, the Babtec CEO sees the company's success as being rooted in the team members and the corporate culture: “Our corporate culture, which is characterized by appreciation, trust and a positive error culture, is actively shaped by all employees every day. This culture is an essential part of our effectiveness in the market.”
